Engaged research at University
Universities engage in research as part of their missions around learning and discovery. This, in turn, contributes directly and indirectly to their primary mission of gathering and sharing knowledge. This can come in the form of fundamental or applied research for all good reasons and to the good of the discovery of new knowledge and a greater understanding of complex challenges and the creation of increasingly interrelated fields needed to address them.
